4th of July 2009, Southwest City, MO

Southwest City, MO

What a great night of food, fellowship, and gospel music.  Canaan Bound was pleased to take the stage with Soul’d Out Quartet. They are a great bunch of folks and if you attended and liked their sound, check the website often as they may be coming our way soon.

If you haven’t been to the Southwest City’s 4th of July celebration, it was a wonderful evening.  The group was proud to be asked to step on stage and be a part of the event.   We feel like it was a huge success and tip our hats to the promoters and all those involved in planning and pulling off the event.

In a day and age when gospel venues are drying up it is great to have a place that celebrates God and country.  If you are a gospel music fan and supporter, you must attend this event.  Of all the area fireworks displays, so many feature country and rock artists and yet we tip our hats to the event planners of Southwest City for maintaing the true spirit of our founding fathers, God & Country, in that order.  If you have interests in the politics and the state of our country a site you might want to check out is www.therightsright.com

The concert was a  wonderful way to spread God’s word.  To step on stage in front of 6,000 or so people and share the gospel through song with them song is a great way to so seed.  This is what the group has always been about and we don’t intend to change.

The guys were sad to miss our Canaan Bound & Friends concert, but felt like this was too big an opportunity to pass up.  We tried to leave everyone in the best hands we could, we hope those that attended our Fairview concert didn’t feel slighted with the Missourians and the Revelators.
